I was on my way west to the Museum Scharf-Gerstenberg, opposite Schloss Charlottenburg. From Gesundbrunnen an S42 anti-clockwise to Westend, then an M45 bus for a couple of stops along Spandauer Damm. But before going into the gallery I thought I should see what the snow had made of the Schlossgarten.
There was almost no-one in the gardens apart from a few tentative joggers trying not to slip on the scrunchy snow; I was full of admiration for their dedication, and especially for a group of well-wrapped grey power-walkers with their poles who were determined not to be beaten by a little snow.
This was actually my first proper visit to the Schlossgarten, and was an hour well spent.
